compression is really low on my Trailblazer 250.
Who has a good deal on a top end rebuild kit?
Know any machine shops in the Dallas area to do a bore?

any good small cycle shop will be able to do it, find one thats been around a
while & does dirt bikes & atv's, call around to a few, should be around
$40 to $60. u will need to buy your piston & rings first I went with wiseco,
u need to mic out your cylinder to see what size it is unless u know it has
not been bored before. if the cylinder looks good go .5mm oversize if it is
real bad go 1mm oversize. rebuild sets are all over, any atv parts catalog
online will have them. I got my wiseco piston & ring set with cometic gaskets
at JR Graham but there are many others. If u don't have the tools to mic it
have the cycle shop do it, they need the piston & rings to bore the cylinder
to the correct size.

Ritter Cycle

Rick is a top notch guy. I've done business with him in the past, as well as quite a few members here, and have always had good results.

If your sending your to Rick to get bored send the head to, and have him mill it. This will increase your compression and give you some cheap power. Talk to him about it, he can do it so you can still run pump gas. Last time I had it done he charged thiry dollars. I have used him, and very satisfied with his work. He;s busy and usually doesn't answer emails, so call him.
