It seems every time I stop into the Polaris forum, there are members that drive other brands, in the threads, bashing the Polaris line.

I never spend any time over in other brand threads, but I was wondering.

Is it a common practice for a Polaris owner to go to other threads strictly to bash the other guy's brand?
Do we need to police every thread in every forum to defend ourselves?

I only went there once on the kaw forum for my dad's 360 prairie, there was
a recall on the front strut assembly. Just wondered if anyone got it fixed, kaw
was very slow getting the parts in & they said dont ride the bike untill it was
fixed!!!!!!!! it took over 5 mon's. to get the parts in to the dealer!!!!!!!

I read many forums and to me it doesn't matter what anyone rides or prefers. You'll find posts you don't care for where ever you go, the best option is to ignore them and move on. It is rather pointless replying to comments that won't have any positive outcome. There is good info passed along from time to time you just need to sift through some garbage to find it.....

I check into Yamaha and Polaris forums because I own both. I will say the folks here at Polaris are more helpful and seem to be more decent people. I don't always get the help I'm looking for at Yamaha, maybe because I have the Scrammy listed on the bottom down there and all the Yamaha guys know that Scrammys eat Wolverines for breakfast. All the Polaris guys know that Raptors eat Predators but I don't get a buncha crap about it here. I think there are just too many know it all punks on the other forums.

It is usually true that the person making the most fuss is the one that feels that they have something to prove, thus making noise to get attention! Think about it, you all know atleast one loud mouth, isn't that same person trying compensate for lack of self confidence?

Just go to the Yamaha forum and read thread "Polaris vs all" and you'll soon realize what kinda morons are over there.

I like your response to their immaturity bassblaster. Very well written. Everyone has pride in their respective machines (hopefully) and that is the way it should be. Enjoy what you have and respect others for the purchases they have made.

Exactly, I don't get them people at all. I know I should just ignore them because they are just immiture morons but that thread just burns me up. I couldn't just let it go. We have just about every brand there is in the group we ride with and we all just have fun riding together regardless of what it says on the side of the machine. I have never seen people bashing anothers machine like I do on these forums. I just don't get it.
