I run the 589's most of the time on my bike. They work good in the mud and are a good trail tire also. They do not alot either. The tread depth is 1.25" if I remember right, I know it over 1". I am not running them right now because it is the beginning of the muddy season around here. This time of the year bigger is better.

From what I hear(friends), the ITP Blackwaters are over-rated. I run stock size Bearclaws and love em. They are agressive and self clean good. They are still sporty enough to spin the tires without biting everwhere. Titans, from what I hear(from friends again), are great and don't know about the Sharks.

I have had all but the 589s. In fact I have a Mudshark and Bearclaw combo on my quad right now. I personally did not like the Blackwaters much. They did so-so in most situations but didnt really shine in any one. I also had an excess amount of flats with them (I think) which may or may not be a coincidence. I agree with XPLOR that they are over rated, but this is just my opinion! I am sure there are plenty of guys out there that like them and have had good luck with them in their particular style of riding!
