wrecked predator help
#1
My sisters boyfriends brother wrecked my quad... He did a monster wheelie that broke the back grab bar, the rear plastic, the rear taillight, and my main question to you guys is that he seemed to mess up the exhaust..
Question is, The stock exhaust popped off and it even bent one of the stock brackets on the silencer. I straitened that back out but now it wont go back on. The exhaust seems to short, if it is on the head pipe it doesn't line up w/the holes in the back.. Is there a "spacer" (between the 2 pieces) piece that I'm missing? or should I just replace the whole exhaust?
If I replace the whole exhaust how do I know what jets to get for the carb, and while I'm at it I plan on getting a K/N filter, also... What do the "rev boxes" or power boxes you see on ebay and such do for the bike?
Thanks,
wanting to ride again!!!

He said he was going to help. I'm probably going to end up fixing it myself and trying to get money from him then. I'd like to get back to riding asap!
I was hoping to pick up a used rear plastic from someone and I already bought a replacement grab bar, the taillight is a easy replacement.
On how much I want to spend.. basically as little as possible for the cosmetic stuff cause even if I get used plastic/bar/light the bike would still be fun to ride.
I would however likely like to spend a few bux on the upgrades to performance while I have the chance. I'm not sure what I can get for 5-600 bux but I might be able to spend that on exhaust/jets/filter. Does that sound feasable? What else should I be looking at?
Thanks.

this might be a bit pricey for you, but this is grouping i HIGHLY reccomend to anyone who comes around looking
Rath Racing (stainless) header - the very best you can buy
White Brothers E-Series can OR HMF sport can
Dynojet jet kit OR send your carburator off to Nicholas Cycle for their race work
K&N OR Twin Air mounted directly to the carburator throat (requires complete airbox removal)
all that will run about $600 if you install it yourself, if you send your carb off to Nicholas Cycle (whos work is VERY well respected in the predator world) your total price will probebly be around $800 (their race work on your carb is $200)
as far as the nicholas cycle race work on the carb, they bore, trim, polish, re-work, tune, and jet your carburator to your needs. it turns your stock carb into a race worthy monster, very well worth the cost - if you can afford it.
