Default Here is the new MV8

Check it out You can look at the new MV7 from the same page. I will buy that roll bar when available, depending on cost. If too much, I will go ahead with my schedule 40 pipe plans.

Default Here is the new MV8

Its interesting that the published top speed for the MV8 is 55mph and the MV7 shows 58mph..must be a misprint

That is cool I guess. I don't really see the need for a civilian version, just like I never understood people that bought the original Hummers when they were released to the public either. I could really use that black out drive though, for those times when I feel like testing the ole night vision, lol.

I don't know about the misprint but it said the mv8 runs on jp8 jet fuel where as the mv7 runs on gas.
(my best guess why the differance)

I think that refers to the infrared driving lights for use with the night vision googles.

Yup, they are for night ops where you are basically running w/o lights. you have very small weak lights to help keep pace and distance with the vehicle in front of you. Pretty much useless in the civilian world unless you are big into role playing/reenactments. Maybe not even useful then...
