Hello again, I believe the 2006 X2 has what you are calling ADC. In 2wd only the rear wheels brake using engine braking. In 4wd under 17 or 18 mph the quad brakes using all 4 wheels. It slows the quad down to the point it will bring it to a standstill on some pretty impressive grades. I believe it even works in reverse also from what I've been able to see. On serious grades I've found myself using the gas to get down the hill faster than the engine braking would have allowed. I hope this answers your questions. It is a great system compared to rear wheel only braking systems and will give you fantastic control.

The 2006 X2 does not have ADC. The 2007 Deluxe X2's have it and I am waiting for one.

Not sure if they call it ADC or not but it works better than anything I've seen out there.

I looked into ADC at my Polaris dealer he didn't know much so I looked in the service manual at the front diff and it has a oil pump and clutch discs on the axles .So the way it must work is the oil pump must be controlled buy the EBS.When the oil pump is activated the clutches must engage the axles giving the ATV four wheel engine braking.Sorry if that's confusing but it's the best I can do you would think Polaris could at lest explain it.

Correct. I stand corrected. I looked into it again and it has 4 wheel EBS that works great. If ADC is anywhere as good as the system they have in the 06 X2 I can't see why anyone would pan it, other than maybe slowing it down too much. The control is excellent either way. Somebody HELP Wayout. There has got to be somebody who actually has an ADC system.

ADC is four wheel EBS. An 06 X2 has 2 wheel (rear) EBS. The 07 Deluxe X2's have ADC (4 wheel EBS). No BS.

On the '06 X2, seems to me all you have to do is push the little yellow button on the left handlebar and then you get 4 wheel desent braking.
