So I've got my 03 Scrammy, bought new non current in March 04. Used but not abused and well maintained (I'm a Ford tech) Lightly modded. Any ideas what it should be worth? I would like to sell it and get a Sportsman 500 or 800 because i have no need for 2 bikes and my back tells me i need a couch lol. And if there is anyone in Ontario that is interested let me know, I'll deliver almost anywhere in the province lol Thanks

oh ya, canadian all the way. ya it would probably be worth a good $5000, and yes scramblers 400 do rock. Theyre so fast and just perfect

 

I'm talkin CDN dollars and if someone is serious I'll have it in the truck tonight. I figured around $4700 would be a fair price but I'm negotiable. The AAEN pipe and clutch kit are awesome, picked it up a Royal Dist. after about 8 months and I haven't even thought of returning to stock. And of course Canadian is the way to go we have the best beers lol

 

for 4700 i would do it, but my dad wouldnt, he thinks a 500 is too dangerous, dont 500s run over 70mph, he doesnt want me going that fast. when i got my 250 the dealer said i would be really impressed with the scrambler's power but my dad said no, i think he hates polaris too, cuz the guys at the dealers give crappy service and work slow and he did not like his polaris explorer 400 2 stroke, it fouled too many plugs, and it was used the the previous owners beat it half to death with a bent frame, not crazily bent, but noticeable

Power will only let you get into trouble if you let it lol. On my GPS the scrammy does about 55-60mph depending on the day and conditions. And a 4 stroke doesn't foul plugs lol, just change them yearly for good measure. I know too many people that hate Polaris for having CVT, but they don't realize that every snowmobile and half of the wheelers nowadays are belt drive, Polaris was a pioneer in bringing the technology to our great sport. As for Polaris dealers, I wouldn't know I do all my own work and my bike is a LOT easier to work on then some of the Fords I work on all day. But if your pops is springin for the cash he has to be happy too eh?
