Default sportsman 700 flywheel puller

Anyone have a flywheel puller for an 02 Sportsman 700? Stator's bad, tool costs $100, and closest shop is about 40 miles away. I work at a Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki dealer and we don't have the tool. I work the same hours as the Polaris shop and I am not taking a day off work to drive over and see if I can borrow theirs. I am doing this at my house for a friend. If anyone has one I can borrow that would be great. I will pay shipping to me and back to you plus a little cash for the trouble. Thanks to anyone that is willing to help.

go to your local auto parts store and get a harmonic balancer puller. Much cheaper and should work just fine.

I haven't even looked at the flywheel yet. Does it have threaded holes in it like a harmonic balancer or steering wheel would? If so, I have a puller that will do that. I have one puller that will pull w/ 2 bolts and one that will pull w/ 3 bolts. Will it work?

I know this is a different machine, but I pulled the flywheel off of a '95 Xplorer yesterday. It worked good. Bent the 3 bolts though. I would imagine yours should have the same type of holes in it.

I used one on a sp 500 bent the bolts also. I had to add just a little heat b-4 it would pop off the crank shaft.
