2004 330 trailboss bigger tires

The rear has a different bolt pattern from the front. The rear is 4/4 and the front is the standard polaris pattern which I think is the 4/156. I may have said 4/157 in my other post. You should be able to get rims that fit right on without changing anything. Lukster has what look like the same wheels that I have. I did not do my front wheels because the standard 12" steel wheels from a sportsman fit right on. All I wanted was ground clearence not looks. Polaris does not make a 12" steel wheel with a 4/4 bolt pattern or I would have used that.
I snorkled the belt box intake & exhaust, the air box (only mod was cutting the factory snorkle), carb vents, transmission vent and fuel tank vent.
All I did to the snorkle was cut the factory one off and put my pool hose over it. The black rubber you see is bicycle inner tube. The hardest part was getting that on the hose. I rolled it up like a rubber and then rolled it back down over the snorkle. I put two layers on it and ty-rapped it.
Adding a clutch kit and bigger rear sprocket should be all you need to do for the bigger tires. Mine runs good with the 25" x 11" x 10" Mudlites. The 25" x 12.5" x 12" Outlaws slowed it down a bit so I am going with a jet kit and drilling my baffels out in the muffler.

ryryviper,
Go to my Bio. All my mod. info is there. I did not have to change any of the hubs or sprockets. I think you can do what I did, all except the pipe. I don't THINK the pipe gave me allot of bang for the buck? You will still have to do all the rest. You will have more power and speed. The wheels and tires will make it taller and wider.
With the jet I listed, you will have to K&N it and vent the box with two 1 1/2 inch vents. One of the two can go where your snorkal is. Or, just take and do what you like from the other posted info.. It all looks good to me.
Rick Ritter is a good start. He can tell you better how much the pipe will help too. I put the pipe on at the same time as the jet, k&N, and vents so I really can't flesh it out. I just think the TB stock pipe has more then enough flow to handle the other mod's. - IMO. I got the pipe as part of the Stage One Kit from Rick Ritter and I do like the pipe.

Your front sprocket should be an 11 tooth. I could not find a smaller one. You want to go bigger on the rear and smaller on the front. The 42 is the biggest I could find for the rear. It fit good with very little room left. If your chain is not stretched out you may have to get a new one to go around the bigger rear sprocket.
Have fun. I can wheelie my TB pretty good set up like it is now with the 25" tires on it.
