remounting tires on new wheels
stupid question..........is it possible to remount stock tires on my new vision 160's by doing it myself or do they need to go to the shop? I have never had a tire off an ATV before so I don't know how "loose" they go on and off. Also can I use my stock valves on my new rims?
Whats the best way I can get these things rollin?!! I would rather do it myself if its possible!

You could probably do it with a couple of tire spoons. If you do go to a tire shop, Have them clamp it on the outside instead of inside. I have black aluminum rims and the guy scratched one from clamping on the inside, he thought I was going to be pissed. I as cool with it, not done on purpose. It was only a brand new $75 rim, LOL. He did the other 3 from the outside and not one scratch! Now that I,ve riden it, they are all scratched. So now they match

I bought and used (one set so far) the harbor frt tire changer. Is a manual-type changer, reg $90.00, was on sale for $50 I think. Worked well, good leverage. Here they charge $5 on up for a mount OR dismount. Adds up after a few tire changes. I'm not sure about scratches though, I have the black steel rims, were already scratched. This may scratch.
