Default X2 800 Deluxe

Took deleivery of my new 800 x2 deluxe today and its cool. Went with the 60 inch blade and went to a 26 inch tire too.
The plow attachement sucks a bit, you need to have a 1 inch board under the mount or it will be too low to attach to the bottom of the bike, and if it moves right or left when you winch it up it falls off all together, but Im sure I will get it set up so it comes off and on ok.
When you go from park to drive or drive to reverse it takes it a second to engage, is this normal? When you give it some gas it them goes in to gear. But so far so good, I have only driven it in to the barn..........................

1 muffler................. the two look killer.
The paint is not what I thought it would be, it has like a metal flake in it, I really dont care for it but you dont see it untill you're right on top of the bike, and it will usually be covered in mud so whatever. The flip up back seat is different than the 06 I looked at too this is way nicer, no rubber bungee cord and you can adjust the back seat hight, it seems to be very comfortable.
One of the best things is how you free spool the winch, there is a small lever on the fron right next to the winch (totaly exposed) you flip with you're finger, so you dont need to get all muddy by going under the bike. At least on my 04 Forman I needed to reach under the front fender (where its mudder than hell) and pull the crap out of a handle to get it fo free spoole.
Other than that I have not had time to go for a ride. I will give more updates as I get em.

Question, I had the dealer put on 26 inch tires, had 25 inch standard.
Now when you look at the bike from the front the tires are what I would call "towed in". In other words there kinda like the shape of the letter A. Is this norman on Polaris? Should they have done an alligenment?

The toe is normal. They are all like that. congrats on new quad. The winch location is one of the thing I think all quads should have it so it stays out of water an the mud more.

I thought Polaris was going to dual muffler the 800 X2 Deluxe. How can we fix that without buying the 700+ dollar header? Did you get the blue or silver? Keep us posted.

Hi, i once was a honda owner , i now owne a 2006 polaris 500 dx and shall i say this i will never go back to a honda.
My dad bought a honda just after i bought my honda when i got the polaris he would not even get on it let alone ride it, now i cant get him off it . lol.. he told me the only way to explain it it is " going from a metro to a nascar"..

if you havent had the chance to ride one yet , ask your dealer to ride one frist before you buy it.
and you will not want to get off of it . with the ebs and the " edc or ecd" i think it is edc, it is one kool atv and there is some modes out there for it , all 3 lights , oil and temp guages. one draw back polaris dont have a rear bumper for it, they did have one " part # 2874608-067"
but they quit making them you can get a front dubble tube and flip it over and it will work with some mounting brackets i have made " i will have pictures of them on here later this week next week i hope ."
but over all i am well pleased with mine .
