Mine is still stock but I'm getting ready to order the pipe and clutch. I already have a growning list of other parts that have been recommended I hope to eventually add. Here they are, hope they give you some ideas.

-Porting and mill the head.
-34mm Carb and UFO
-Lighten flywheel
-Aluminum wheels and HoleShot tires (on rear anyway)

Then if I haven't completely screwed it up and the wife hasn't kicked me out, I'm thinking of boring .020 and dropping a wiseco piston it. Ah, so many options - so little money.

Some have asked me why I just don't sell it and get a 400..... but what fun would that be?

Speaking of mods and speed, will low end power be lost if ya go up one or two teeth on the rear sprocket for a higher top speed? Everytime I read about a TBlazer with a pipe and clutch kit its said that they wheelie like nothing, so that shouldn't hurt bottom end too bad, would it? I'm with ya, 00TB250 on the hpd mods, and I'm definetly gonna get the louder MT silencer so I can drown out my riding buddies when they talk trash on thier yammies and hondas. Anyone that knows about gearing(I know what sprockets look like, that's about it), please help me out. I know motor mods won't really add to the top speed, just help it get there quicker....would 65 be too much to ask?

After Clutch mods and pipe, replaced the stock piston w/ a wisco, while I had the jub off I ported it myself. Installed a VForce Delta 2 reed cage and reed spacer. Stock 13 on the front and can't go any higher so had to go from a 36 stock to a 38. A good rule to remember that barring your engine has enough hp's, every tooth is 3 to 5 mph. One more thing, install a k&n and remove your air box cover and go up 3 or 4 main jets. So if you have a 240, install a 270 or 280 and test ride. If it's to rich, then drop down a one size. Always better rich then to lean. Good luck.

What motor are you talking about NewDSlover the 250 in a trailBlazer do not have reed cage or rads at all it is a piston port motor. If you are going to change the gearing in it start witht he rear first the change is more gardual. If you want a bigger change then do the front up one tooth.
