Sportsman 700 tire size question
#1
Okay, some of you have given me some good pointers to think about but I am still not sure what size tires to buy. Please help! I have a 2004 Polaris Sportsman 700.I want to install a 2" lift, clutch kit and 28" Mudzilla's on ITP C series wheels.I now have 25x8x12 on front and 25x11x12 on rear stock.Best combo for Mudzilla's ? 28x8x12 on front & 28x10x12 on rear or 28x10x12 & 28x12x12 or 28x10x12 all around ? Do I need spacers on front or all around or not at all? Thanks for your patience and any advice given.

If you go with the 8's up front you should be ok without spacers. If you go with 10's you will need spacers on the front. I have 28x10x12 all the way around and they do great. You probably want to go with 8's on the front 10's on the rear if you don't want to run spacers. Or if you don't mind spacers 10's on the front and 10's or 12's on the rear.

hey poleclimber i have a 05 800 thinking about doing the same thing let me know if u get 8zilla on the front and if they fit with stock rims. and how the lift kit does i have 1.5 spacers on the front and get a wobble. thanks

i think thats why alot of people go w/ aftermarket rims w/ deeper off sets vs using spacers so they wont have any issues like that. you will need either one if you go wider then stock on front i do beleave. at least on the 05 and 06's anyways.
