Default rear driveshaft

Anyone replaced a rear propshaft (driveshaft)?? Just got the new part and can't fit it in. There isn't enough room to slide the front part of the shaft to the spline off the transmission. Do I have to take apart the swing arm or the u-joint?? any help would be greatley appreciated.

I believe the rear diff needs to be moved back. One of the prop ends doesn't even clamp tight. You can wiggle the yoke on one of the shaft ends( I think it is the trans side)

Thats right you can wiggle the tranny side but there still isn't enough room to slide it on, metal doesn't bend. Have you ever taken a swing arm off? does it need to be realigned when putting it back on?? There is a nut on the left side that the right doesn't have.
