I have an 03 sportsman 400. Recently I was trying to climb out of a creek bed and up a sandy hill in high gear (my bad) untill I smelled my belt burning. Now I have a bad vibration at low speeds that smooths out when I get above 10 to 15 MPH. I took my belt cover off expecting to find a bad spot in the belt, what I found was a belt that looked OK but I noticed some very small lines or ridges low in the drive pulley that you can feel. Would this be enough to cause the vibration, or is there anything else I can check? Thanks for all input
