Default SCRATCH REMOVER?

I'm getting ready to sell my ATV and I'm trying to find something that will remove the scratches from my body plastic. Is there such a thing?

There is really no way to remove them. Being plastic you would have to fill them somehow.

My friend told me that you can use a heat gun and get the plastic just hot enough that thiey fill themselves. Think this will work?

there is some stuff called nuplastic that comes with sand paper and steel wool to take out scratches then you apply the stuff and it really makes your plastic look new...

you could wet sand the scrathes out with 1000 or 1200 grit sand paper and then buff it. its alot of work but it can be done

Jayblazer, I looked up NuPlastic on google and it didn't come up with anything. Did you mean NuFinish Scratch Doctor?

I have never personally used it but they have plastic renew. You can try it. They sell it at Rocky Mountain ATV for 15.99. Don't know how much you will need or how it works but it says it will make it look new again.

Can try some stuff called Novus plastic polish. It is a 3 step process & I am thinking ALOT of rubbing. Saw it @ Dennis Kirk & JR Graham.
