Maaan. The gators are heavy! Brutal power robbing heavy!
I know from experience.

i would go with the interco swamplites they are not as heavy or agressive as the gators but are better in all around terrain than the mudlites.the mudlites suck in muddy conditions.

It all depends on the type of soil you ride in. I have Mudlites on my Hawkeye but where I ride when its wet is a very slick, yet sticking clay. My tires looked like mud ***** when I went thru some heavy stuff but cleaned out fast after I was thru it. My brothers Swamplites didn't ball up as much. In more sandy mud, the Mudlites problably would be much better.

the 589 tires are 6 ply and verry heavy, they will affect your power.the best all around tire out there is the interco swamplites, they pull great in mud sand water exc.do some research on the net and find some tire shoot outs.if you want a agressive tire get the superswamper vampire.thats what i run.they are lighter than any other mud tires pull better than the rest and ride smooth on pavment and hardpack.
