Default I want a pipe, what should I do???

I am looking to add a pipe to my Polaris Sportsman 500. I am looking for a little more power and maybe a better sound. Does anyone have any suggestions? Where should I get one and how much would it be? Is it worth it?

I guess that depends on the price. What are my options. I have not looked into it at all.

I not into MODS can't help you there...But you may need to adjust your jetting also with the add on pipe.........Other form riders will help you out here.......From my point of view the extra H.P.gain is not important to me if I need to worry about the engine life or carb adjustments....Just my view though!!..................Caper.............

Caper - I agree with you. I only have a 450 and I LOVE it. If I want more power, I would trade it in and buy one with a bigger engine.

If I had an 800 and wanted more power, I would probably end up wrapping myself and the machine around a tree. Cant imagine that much power wouldnt be enough to keep from killing myself :0

I have an EFI, no Carb. I love it, but I was just looking for a little more power and a better sound.

Hey Caper, Better not let that get out. You'll have guys getting sex changes and making all sorts of passes at you. LOL
