Default rear hub bearing for 2005 sportsman

Hey guys I need a part number for the rear hub bearing on a 2005 700 sportsman...is there a good after market bearing out there?like a timken or bower? any helps would be greatly appreciated I got my buddies tore down in my garage and need to replace both sides.....

Why did the bearings go so early?...Lots of miles or abuse...Caper...

[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] ..I usally get them from Boss Bearings for around 40.00 dollars a set..Phone # 888 400 2677...These bearing cost about 60.00 each at dealer..Or go to E-BAY and do a search for Polaris bearings...Hope this helps

Thanks a bunch...I found a fewpart numbers that supposebly work as well..The polaris part number is as follows;
3585502.......Napa#FW143 Advance#BCA-510013 Timken #510013 which is under the CR brand....NTN deo8a27.

I learned that the part no,s you mentioned are front wheel bearings for ford escorts year models 92-2001. blows my mind as they will last over 100,000 miles on a car but my bike eats a set every 1000 - 1500 miles... go figure

I installed the napa fw143's in my 04 600. $40 each, $35 for the press out and press in. Mine originals lasted about 1300 mi.

I used the FW143...$38.00 bucks each...I knocked them out with a punch and placed the hubs on a peice of wood and drove the new ones in with the old race which I cut into on one side so it would release easily from the hub....took about an hour to do both sides......I am gonna purchace a press though.Id prefer pressing them in rather than driving them in...Thanks for everyones input...Perky

We just put a set of those in a 2001 A/C 250 last night.....They were sealed and the factory ones were not.....They even came with the inner and outer seals....They are for sale at" Motovan" web-site he told me...I never been tom that site yet!!!!
