Did anybody buy a new air filter and pre-filter ....Just wondering what the dealer cost is and do you get both or are they sold separte...Thanks....Caper.....

 

buy a k & n filter and prefilter.

a k&n pays for itself overtime since you will never have to buy another filter again. just wash the k&n and ur good to go again. plus beter performance. dont think you need a prefilter if you go with a drop in

i think the paper filter is like ten bucks

 

more power do to more airflow.

yes you can use it with the stock carb or get a k & n filter & jet kit together.

 

you might have to rejet with a k&n, but thats not hard

I just got a K&N for my Sp 800EFI, and I'm using the stock pre-filter.
No problems so far...
