I use Rocky boots. I got mine from Dicks Sporting Goods for like 89.99 and they are like 1200g of Thinsulate. My toes were toasty after riding today at about 28 degrees and in the ice puddles. I also stood in a stream and took a break with my buddies for about 20 minutes and never got cold at all. They are pretty sweet.

If you get a chance....try on a set of Gaerne boots.....sigh....your feet will thank you. Great comfort, and awesome protection.

A good pair of atv/mx boots are ankle savers and to me a must along with a helmet.

Hey great to see you around here again Ken.

brutus450, The atv boots are great in an accident, but unless you are a real aggressive rider, you should be fine with anything that provides decent over the ankle protection on your Sportsman. If you have the cash to spend, I would still get mx boots with the atv soles as I don't think you can ever have to much safety gear on. Alpine Stars have an atv soled boot out, they are comfy, quality, and Astars stuff seems to last forever if taken care of. Fox and Thor also have offerings that would do ya fine, but I like Astars.

Hi Stendori - thanks! I really like em. Yeh I am debating wether to get boots or just wear my work boots. My problem is I have workboots but I have a habit of not tying them So if I got ATV boots that would offer more protection I would be forced to wear them correctly. trying to figure out if its worth the cash. Probably isnt but I wouldnt mind having some boots just for riding. I am an accessory freak
