will the gas cap for a predator fit on a sportsman? i was going to put a billet aluminum one on mine. they look pretty sweet

Crashby, I think they do fit but you can go to www.yourwaytofun.com and we have a complet expanded parts list for polaris. Here you should be able to cross-reference some part numbers from a sportsman to a preddy. Good luck. By the way this is the site to the polaris dealership where I work. I use the parts diagrams all the time for maintinance all the time. The link is at the top in the middle of the home page. Let me know if this works.

 

ok the part # for the sportsman is 5433687 and the preddy is part # 5434736, it might be different part # since the preddy's is vented.if u work at the polaris dealership could u try to put the preddys cap on the sportsman? thanks.

 

I would, but we don't have any preddys in stock right now. We do have an outlaw 500. I'll see what I can do tomarow. I'm pretty sure they are the same but maby the difference in part numbers is because of the color.
