Brake Lines

Default Brake Lines

Has anyone ever made there own brake lines on there atv. I have a 2001 400 Sportsman and the rear brake line that is stainless broke and i have some stuff off a race car that I could probably use but I would like to see if anyone else has been to cheap and improvised..

Default Rear Brake lines.

I have a 2002 500sp rear steel braided line came out of it's fitting.I just went to a place that works on hydraulic lines they just put the 2 old fittings on a new steel braided line worked good.Only cost me $30.

you could also you copper which is easy to bend and will more then needed take the brake pressure required on these bikes and is easy to mold to what you need vs. as steel. just an idea.
