I thought you should use the factory oil filter....Polaris has a check-valve in them to hold some oil I was told......If this is wrong ...Someone tell me otherwise..........I posted a question like this before.....Caper....

The Mobil 1 110 filter is a good filter for the 700/800 and does have both the antidrainback valve and the pressure relief valve required. Mobil 1 filter reviews have put them in the top few with the Pure One and others so it is a good choice. The only knock on Mobil 1 filters is you pay more than others with similar good quality.

Go to this--good info: http://www.calsci.com/motorcycleinfo/FilterXRef.html

I have disassembled the Polaris 700/800 filter. It is a Dana/Wix/Napa filter. Good filter but costs a little too much.

I use the Mobil 1 filter, read good reviews on it and the Pure One. Can't find the Purolator Pure One for my machine(800) or would use it instead. The Pure One is cheaper and better I read, if not the best.

PepBoys auto parts has purolator pure one oil filter. AutoZone has mobil 1 oil filter. hopefully you have one of these two auto parts suppliers in your area (state). wix too is a great oil filter. purchase any of the 3 or the oem thats the most available to you nearby at just about most auto parts supplier.
