ADC, stands for active descent control. It is a brake control that works by hydrolic oil and is located in the front gearcase. It is only activated when the atv is in awd, below a speed of 15 mph, and when the throttle is fully closed. Basically it is added to give the atv more braking stability going down a steep grade. definetely a recommendation when purchasing a new atv.

i really think it has alot to do w/ peoples opinions on how it really works. as far as the delux thats just one of the features of the delux which makes it more money. if you liked how the normal ebs works then i would think that the added adc would be a little bonus. the only thing i wonder is how they perform in the long run as far realiablity. only time will tell i guess.

I have a 800 X2 with it and it works very good. But if you are going down a hill and give it just a little gas it will go into 2wd and slide and then you let off and it goes back to 4wd. So its good and bad.

I have a 07 500 EFI HO Delux. I have owned both a Kawi P650 and 750BF with engine braking. This thing has them beat hands down. I have had the 500 actually come to a complete stop going down hills. The transition from braking to throttle is very smooth. With the Kawi's the engine braking would let loose and not hold, the 500 will hold the entire distance of the hill. Never felt so stable on down hill slopes in my life. I would highly recomend it to everyone.

i know on my friends bf750 he can loose traction as well on the steep hills we use, but he does have a little more control in breaking then me if i just it free wheel.
