i see aaen has a megaphone torquer muffler for my 04 sportsman 400 ,ya think it would do any good.. i already have the dyno-jet kit and a k&n filter.. they claim all around includeing bottom end gains.. any idea what it would sound like.. i see they also have a clutch kit for around 130.00 ,, any thoughts..

 

The Aaen megephone is one of the best built mufflers on the market but if you get one get the spark arrestor version because the plain one is ungoddly loud.

 

you mean one of the re-packabe ones, 3 choices

 

you want repackable too but when you order one tell them you want the sparkarrestor.They have them welded on.

 

i plan on calling tomorrow ,, they have alot of cool stuff i could spend my tax return there.lol

 

If you want to drop some more cash call HPD about a TEAM roller secondary setup for your tires and riding style.

In the $300 range but you will have instant upshifts and backshifts almost like EBS.I think it is the most significate improvment you can make.

 

I JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE W/ AAEN .. THEY SAID THE MUFFLER WILL BE A 5HP GAIN AND RECOMENDED THE CLUTCH KIT TO GO W/ IT(89.00) +(230.00 ) MUFFLER AND 12.00 SHIPPING..THEY SAID THE MUFF ALONE WOULD BE A NOTICEABLE DIFFERENCE BUT THE CLUTCH KIT IS TUNED FOR THE PERFORMANCE MUFFLER... Sounds good.But I still like the TEAM roller secondary.You can always add that down the road.It is alwas best to do one mod at a time so you can see what it rally does.
