Default To screen or not to screen...that is the question???

Hi all,
Wondering if anyone has removed the screen covering the radiator...this is the thin mesh screen like you'd find on a screendoor. I had a problem recently with the screen being plugged along with the radiator and I'm wondering if removing this screen will help or hinder. I see that Jamhard removes the screen when using their product but again doing so may just "rob peter to pay paul"...

Jamhard...and hotchick!

Thanks!

Nice sales associate promo'ing their
product, LOL. Hmm seems pretty
cool, a little costly though. But
I can attest to having to pay $312
for a replacement Rad, check out
my repair story thread.

Wondering if I could install that now
that I have my plow plate installed
on the frame?

Mornin bombaman
I did not remove my screen when I put my jamhard guard on, You still have a few inches between the screen and the radiator and what the the screen don't stop, the radiator will, I'd rather have the screen catch what ever,
((Your results may very))
guard

If I ever take the screen off again,, I'm gonna drill two holes in the plastic to get to them darn top 2 screws,,,,,

I don't think I'd take the screen out. Anything it would have stopped is now going directly to the radiator.

Nice model too. Was that an advertisement under her, or instructions?

Thanks all. That's what I assumed...removing it may keep it from clogging but the crap just clogs up the radiator.
