i always new that w.out the right volatge there could be problems, but when i was looking thru my book trying to find something esle i noticed it says right it there that it has to be 12.8 volts or engine failure or ruff running can orcure. just shows how much these newer bikes are fincky i guess.

I entered the diagnostic mode inadvertantly the last time I started up the ATV. For those who have not tried it, there is a voltage meter on the LCD display that will give you a reading on your battery without the engine running. It also gives a reading with the engine running. Sort of neat to see how things are doing.
