I entered the diagnostic mode inadvertantly the last time I started up the ATV. For those who have not tried it, there is a voltage meter on the LCD display that will give you a reading on your battery without the engine running. It also gives a reading with the engine running. Sort of neat to see how things are doing.

This is only on EFIs only I imagition. The processor needs voltage to operate right. But in reality, it will operate at a lower voltage, because when you are starting, your voltages are problably around 10.5 v till the alt starts working.

Hey Sheepdog, how do you get in the Diagnostic mode? I have an '05, 700 efi. Does it hurt to "accidently" get it into it?
