I wouldnt know, I don't know ANYBODY that rides in MUD. Don't ya know that those conditions are said to cause blindness, disease, divorce, extreme and sudden weight gain...etc....
ATV'S aren't for mud, I bought mine strictly for going to the mailbox and back. I'm surprised that your Polaris Dealership will even cover your bike under warranty seeing as how you ride in muddy conditions.
Sorry, couldn't help it, I was bored.....
I have had good luck out of EBC Severe Duty Pads. One key to long life is to wash them out THOROUGHLY after muddin, whether you wash the bike or not. After flushing them out really good, dry them off by running it up and down your driveway or something, then just b4 you put it up, spray them down with WD-40 or something similar...
DRIVE SLOW after you've sprayed them with WD-40 as the brakes won't respond very well, but it will have all evaporated by the time you get ready to ride again. Thats what I do anyway, Its worked for me on several different bikes.

Check out http://www.homestead.com/lurch77/atvmisc.html
Pure brass brakes. As far as I know, these are about the longest lasting brakes around. And they just added Polaris to thier lineup.

Moose makes solid discs for polaris' and are supposedly designed for mud. I know www.denniskirk.com has them, but I'm not sure of Moose's website. www.erlandsonperformance.com has some too, I think.

Wont these brass pads mess up your disk in mud. Any way i checked out there site they dont seem to have them in polaris atv. You guys say they last a long time but how good do they stop. And do they work when there wet too. I am afraid if I put these on the front of my atv it will mess up the disk. The guy that made these pads said he does not recomend them on the front disk. Please more info on ebc brakes and brass brakes?????

Hello All,
On my site, I didn't recommend the brass for the front because at the time the site was created, no one had tried it. Since then, several people have used them on the front with great success. No problems or lost stopping distance. But that pad is drastically different from the polaris front pad.
I haven't tried Polaris fronts yet. I'm working on them right now as we speak. I was just out in the shop, and came in to check my email and warm up a little. When I finish, there is a guy down here who wants to try them out for me. I will keep you all posted.
If you have any questions, just send me an email. I'll be glad to answer them.
