Is there a website with directions on how to do this. I looked through my owners manual and found no illustartions. I have purchased an extra belt...no need to use it yet, but I need to know how to change the belt in case I break down. Thanks.

 

pull the clutch cover off pul up on the old one it seprates the secondary clutch and then pull the new one on the primary adn then put the belot over the top of the secondary and work it down over the bottom....i think

 

basicly like changing a snowmobile belt once you get the foot well off and then the clutch cover off. make sure that the gasket on the cover is put back right or its not damaged.

 

Thanks...I think I'll try changing it at home...first. Better than being stuck miles from home.

 

by the way welcome to our forum. just make sure you have the right tools w/ ya to change it on the trail. most of the time its very uncomen to have to change a belt on these bikes.
