Is there any differences in an 05 Troy Lee Predator compared to an 06 Troy Lee. I am looking to buy an 05 or newer and I was just curious to know if there were any changes or if one was more desirable than the other. Thank You, This is a great forum you guys have here!!!

 

just plastic and the rear shock (went from resivoir to piggyback), everything else is the same. the LE's are different though.

 

What's the difference about the LE?

 

well 2005 was the first year for the LE editions (i think) and it came with Maxxis Razr2 tires, aluminum front bumper and rear grab bar, front Fox Podium X shocks with piggybacks, special plastic, white brothers E-series exhuast and the wide ratio gearbox that was in the standard preddy.

the 2006 LE was the Safari edition, which was pretty much a copy of Matt Smilies predator for GNCC. it had Maxxis Razr 2 tires, aluminum front and rear bumper grabbar things, front fox podium x shocks with piggybacks, black plastic and a black seat with red stitching, white brothers E-series exhuast, and the close ratio gearbox out of the TLD (which i have)
