As for the tools needed to mount your plow, this will depend on the brand. If I remember right, I only needed sockets and end wrenches for my CMP plow. But I would have some screw drivers and pliers handy just in case. The directions should tell you what tools you should expect to have handy.
As for plowing, always plow in low. Plowing puts strain on the drive train. You want the PVT in low to reduce the strain on the belt and clutches.
As for success in stock, the last 6 months has been a killer on my 401k's. Oh well, I am in for the long haul anyway
