Default Reverse Light Mod

I have a 2007 Spotrsman 500EFI. It has rear lights but no lamps in them. I was wondering if there is a kit out to make them work. Thanks

I am not familiar with the standard edition sportsmans, but welcome to the forums anyway. Seems to me that the quad is probably wired up for them, someone on here should probably be able to help you out! good luck!

I am not familiar with the 07 but it's not the work lights, is it?
They are controlled by a switch on the left side of the pod.

yes it is the work lights but there is no switch for them. The 700 and 800 have the switch. I was wondering where I can get one.

I usually try to do things the right way. I would suggest getting a switch from the dealer. There is a "cut-out" mark on the inside of the pod. It is easy to tell where to cut. If it is prewired, then the switch should and wire up fit perfectly. Of coarse you could do a toggle switch and save money, but why not get the switch designed for the application? They are sealed from the elliments too.

Have you considered doing the automatic reverse light mod? Then you would not need a switch, and if you do want the lights on, just put it in rev. with the key on. Something to think about! HA HA HA! I just told you to do things the right way too, Well,....... I said I try, I also like automatic things, as well! Like GUNS!!!! Ok, different forum!
