on the 02 sportsman 700s ?

yeah mine seems to be awsome , only thing is my winch wont work but i will fix it once it warms up ! Is their anyway to put stock 800 pipes on the 700 ?

 

instigater put a stock 800 header on his mv700 as well as sportsman70003. so there must be something to it.

 

yeah i figured 800 duel pipes would look cool on the 700 and no one has it around here so i figured ied be different lol thanks

 

There is a minor mod needed, the 800 pipe a slightly shorter, so you may need to notch out the can for it to bolt up tight! EASTER---- you mentioned duel pipes, be advised these are not true duels, but there are companies that do make them. I have an 800 "header", with a single can. The 800's come with "my header" and 2 cans, that cross over between them! You may already know this, but I wanted to make sure of it.

 

hey instigater, have you ever heard of these guys for coating. coaters he emailed me saying his turn around is 72 hrs. what do you think.

 

I haven't heard of them ,but there are many guys that do coatings now. Sometimes I worry about big names(Jet-Hot), sometimes they forget how they got so big and change to "profit is more important than quality" I am going to give my buddy a shot. He is still small, but he desribed his process to me, he takes no shortcuts! Sometimes the hole in the wall is where you find the best food!

 

So all Ied have to do is buy the 800 header and pipes and notch a little out of the cans ?

 

I have never known anyone to put the "800" complete system on a 700. Most just put 800 header on, you could use your 700 can or get an aftermarket. If you wanted the complete system, i believe it would work just fine! You'd probably be happier with a "true duals" system though, if you want to "see" 2 cans!
