I'm going to buy one of these,which one does everybody like the best,info would be helpful in making my decision,thanks in advance...polaris or suzuki? wayout,out................

I can't speak for Suzuki though
I understand they make great
products BUT as a Polars 450 owner
(plus 2) I am quite pleased with my
performance, handling, power
and speed. Of course, we are talking
here with 500 plus owners who
can attest about greater things
than I can. My wife liked mine so
much she wanted a 450, she rode
my AC 250 alot when I had it, and
my cousins SP800 (lots of power)
and felt 450 was perfect middle of
the road.

As for me I am not seeking any more
cc's at the moment BUT just the joy
and FUN of doing some light mods
to increase even better handling and performance
mainly looking at better MUD tire upgrades
so I can go thru pretty much anything.

with what I have done, well best wishes in your

well my uncle has the poo poo 450. and i have the kq 450. i can tell u with personal experience. the poo poo has slow of the line performance then it feels like a snowmobile. it handles nice, plush ride but weighs 715 lbs ouch. its not in the same class as a kq 450. trust me if u get a chance drive it and see.

 

thanks for the info, I'm not worried about power so much as handling,steering,ride,depenability,i've had 3 polaris's,i'm kinda leaning toward the king 450 more so than the Polaris i just need a little push if you know what i mean,i'm going to ride the king this weekend I'll let you know what happens,thanks wayout.out......................

 

I have two sp 450 here also like Rtickwad and am happy with them.......I sorry I can't comment on the King 450....It is up to you there.........You said that 3 Polaris were in your past......Why the switch now....Need a change?? ...........Caper....!!!!!!!!!

 

Yea, some other factors for me was the awesome
utility that the 450 provides. I have hauled around
hunting tree stands, pulled huge farm tiller, just installed
a snow plow. Have my lock&ride accessory GUN
scabbard, great fit w/o sacrificing any foot/leg room.

If you plan on using your Quad for utility like in Hunting
etc. you may want to see what you can get for it, another
factor why I chose Polaris Sportsman (aka 450 for the price).

my lil 400 does EVERYTHING my buddys big bores do and then some..i dont get there as quick and i use alot less gas.. i had a 600 sportsman hooked to my warn about a hr ago, in the black muck that i tirned up after i got done ****** blocking him out i buryed mine up to the low beams in the thickest,blackest , stinketest stufff i have seen in a while.. man what a great ride.. go popo or go home!!!!!!!!!!

 

the polaris 450 is very good on gas for sure. im guessing the kq has a diff, locking to get the true awd like the one button polaris has. personally i dont think many other brands can beat the ride of the polaris but they arent the most powerful or the fastest. only you can decide after riding one which fits you better.
