Hey everyone i just have a few questions for when i get my cylinder and head back. I was wondering after i clean out the crank case should i pour oil in there or will it just be oiled from when i mix oil in the gas? Also i pulled the engine and tranny out because i cleaned everything while i was waiting for my parts so when i put it back together do i have to align the clutches? if so how? Thanks in advance. BTW its a 02 trailblazer 250.

i had polaris tech tell me that pre-mixing and oil injection together was not very good , and even sugested that was why mine was overheating at one time.... just what i was told , seems like extra lube should be a good thing .. most definatly put some oil in the crank case , prime your pump i buid car engines for a liveing and i ALWAYS roll it over with no spark or fuel to lube everything good before starting....

Just coat all the parts and cylinder walls with 2 stroke oil as you assemble it. You can use a clean parts brush to brush it into bearings as well, but don't pour oil into the crankcase. Make sure your hands and all the parts are clean and use fresh 2 stroke oil. Premix a little heavy for the first couple of tanks and you should be good to go.
