My local polaris dealer sells this kit to take the scratches out of the plastic on my ATV. Does this really work? I have tried many of the remedies of taking them out but they dont work to well...

 

its pretty hard to get scratches out that are very deep. maybe if there fine scratches. i have some "plastic coat" polish that works for real fine ones.

my old scrambler got scratched up pretty bad one time. I wet sanded the scractes out and buffed with tooth paste, yep tooth paste, I tried rubbing compound but it was a brownish color and it left a brownish tint on the plastic I had seen a show on tv about using tooth paste for a scratch remover on faceshields, well it worked real well on the plastic.
