Broken steering stem on 700
#1
Went riding yesterday and my handlebars got to flopping side to side, I headed for the truck but didnt make it , took it apart this morming and the steering stem was broken on both sides wher the handlebars bolt to it, not good, I welded it together till I get a new one but this machine has never been rolled or terribly abused and this should not have happened. It's scary to think what would happen if I'd been haulin butt when it happened, I think Ill call Polaris on this.

I broke the steering stem on my Scrambler 3x. But I expected it, it was rolled a lot and I'm pretty hard on riggin lol. But for the stem to snap on a machine that hasn't been rolled is surprising. The other thing I've found is when your stuck and throwing your weight back and forth and tuggin the bars seems hard on them as well.
