Default tire question

Why is are the front tires taller than the back and would it hurt to put the same size tire on the front and the back. im talking hieght not width. im thinking about gettinga set of mud tires for the trail boss but i want the itp 589 m/s and they are 25's and i got 22's on the back and 23's on the front is this going to be a problem if i put 25's on a trail boss.

You dont have gearing issues to worry about like a scrambler 4x4 so 25"s should work all the way around. 589s in 25" will take some power to spin. The quad will also sit differently, like putting a spacer in the rear. I would sugest mudlites, I think they are making them in sport quad sizes so you could find some that fit, plus they are lighter.

I think you would have a fun bike with some 24" mudlites. A little more ground clearence and mud slinging ability.

On my old 330 TB I put 24" tires on it. I regeared the rear sprocket and put in a EPI pink primary spring. It had plenty of power to push the 24's but 25 will be lot harder. Mudlites, Dirtdevils and Swamp Lites are a great tire for the 330.

Remember when looking at mudlites there are two styles, The smaller sizes have shorter, closer together lugs, while the mudlite XLs have taller, farther apart lugs. Both would be a good choice over stock for fun factor.

That's exactly what we did to the wife's 330 TB. Went from the stock 22" to the 25" mudlites and they are GREAT. She finds the bike as comfortable as ever and can grind through alot more mud and bog.

well i decided to go with just 23's in the back and keep the 23's up front and for the back i think i may go wth the The GATOR. looks like it should be a good offroad tire.
