is it like a second brake pedal on the left side of the quad (where the shifter is on manual quads)

Does it do the same thing as a clutch/clutch lever on a manual quad or dirtbike?

It is an adjustable clutch kit. It replaces the flyweights, in a PVT clutch system. The flyweights are adjustable, to tune your clutch the way you want it to run!

It is not like a manual clutch. With a clutch kit you will ride and operate your machine exactly the same as before.
The main thing a clutch kit will do is change the RPM range which your clutch engages at.

For Example: When in Drive on your quad you do not move until you hit the gas. Lets say you start moving forward at 1000 RPM. With a clutch kit you will not begin to move forward until your motor hits 2000 RPM. The benefit to this is get the increased horsepower that you motor is making while still moving relativley slow, you may call this having more bottom end.

The RPM's which I used in my example are not actual.

Heelclicker is just an aftermarket brand name.

wouldnt it be nice though if there was a "clutch" available for cvt quads that could disengage the transmission so that you can just coast at 10mph- fullthrottle- then lift your heel again and POP- the front end comes up....... i hope some company makes this as it would make scamblers, tb's, kfx700s, and renegades a lot more fun to ride, and a lot better for trails

not really- its still an automatic but you have the option of disengaging the forward/reverse gear-

you know how you can't shift into fwd when your RPM is say around 5000rpm......... well with a "clutch" you could, just press it in, shift in fwd, rev it to the moon, and POP- backflip,

So it has all the benefits of a manual clutch but you cannot stall because if your RPM get too low, the CVT tranny will disengage anyway...... see my point?
