Good morning everyone....I'm new to the forum and could sure use some help/advice/tips......
I just bought a 2004.5 Sportsman 500 H.O.--1175 miles on the OD-- and it has a couple problems:rear brake doesn't work (I'm pretty sure i have that one figured out);the right rear wheel wobbles---something is bent??;the machine is "stuck" in 4 wheel drive;the tach doesn't work (could this be due to ECM issues)

replace your spedo, it will most likely take care of your 4x4 problem too as it controls the 4x4.

 

I solved ALL my problems with the 2004.5 Sportsman.........I traded it for a new '07 500 Sportsman EFI,Limited Edition.It's AWESOME! (it's ONLY money...right??)
