O.K. .Brutus 450.........Back to manual........LOL..Did you know that you can Reset your Speedometer???
It says in here that if your engine was turned off by your key or kill switch.......The speed(needle) you were traveling may stick and be in that spot!!!!
For example.......If you were riding at 20 mph...Hit the key or kill switch .Quad shuts off...The speedo needle "may" stay at 20 mph......(did this happen to anybody?)

When this happens you need to operate the quad at a faster speed than (20 mph) to return to normal operation!!!...(RESET)......LOL..LOL....There another one for you to remember!!!..LOL..LOL.....CAper

Caper, the filler panel pre-cut from polaris is something like $25 something like that. We include it on all of the machines that we install a winch on. The polaris/warn winches came with a template so you could cut your own. My winch is a 3000# warn so the failead comes out in the middle instead of to the side like the 2500 lb so I had to cut it differently and couldnt get one pre-cut from polaris. The blue polaris star has to be moved from your old one or you can order a new one, but those are expensive.

Default WARN XT 25!!!

i saw a couple of them on ebay that went for over 50 bucks a peice - for that price I will be cutting out my own. Cant be that hard - saber saw and a dremel tool - wont have a factory edge but its better than paying 50 bucks - dremel will get it smooth enough

just a note here guys, i dont beleave you can free wheel anymore w/ the winch cable as the clutch **** would not be exposed thru the cut out. at least the ones ive seen. not to mention its easier to get a hose or what ever to wash the rad. just my .02. p.s speaking of washing, i bought a pump off ebay that im going to make my own trail washer system. should be pretty cool and wont cost 150.00

Cover I think you can free wheel the winch with the cover on, but they do just snap in and out of place. Their snapped in just like the stock one with no hole. The new 07 delux comes with one, but polaris had drilled two holes and put self tapping screws in through the plastic. If you want to order one, look at a 2007 delux model for a part number.
