The new set up blows goats. It must be a young folks thing cause us old guys are having fits with it. Don't know what linear is, but you have to click on it in order to post or reply or PM. I was beginning to think that it was just a Can Am thing. I stopped by all the other manufacturers and there were no complaints. Stopped by PoPo last and it's good to see that us old folks at the Bomb forum aren't the only ones dealing with the new way.
I'm resistant to change too, especially if there is no reason for it. I wasn't aware that there were so many problems with the forums that they needed to be fixed.

I haven't had any problems with the way it works ... been workin' OK.

I like this Quick Reply box, it's less hassle than the full three-click route, but even the old-fashioned way things have worked without a hitch on this end.

The new colors ... I don't worry about colors.

Well so far it seems a LOT slower on dial-up. And A little confusing at first. But I'm sure it'll take a bit of getting used to.

Jeez guys, give it a rest! LOL!!!

I am still fixing bugs and changing default settings. The reply problem was due to forcing everyone to use the wysiwyg editor. That has been fixed (I changed the default). Linear was supposed to be the default for the display format. That should have been fixed as well.

There was no upgrade provided from our old forum to this version. I had to write the software to do the upgrade. When you do that, its like playing detective because you don't know what the new values in the database should look like. Everything is different. So, the problems you saw today were expected given the massive changes made for the upgrade.

Please continue letting me know what you like or don't like about the forum. The feedback helps so that I know what to focus on.
