Arrow on Piston?

Im rebuilding my Grandpa's 1996 Polaris Sportsman 400, Ive rebuilt alot of car engines but never a 2-stroke engine. My question is which way does the arrow point on the piston?

isnt the arrow for telling you which way to turn the corners? na, lol thier 100% correct it goes toward the exhaust port.

Yep...exhaust port......or as some manufacturers go by "arrow points toward the front of the engine". Apparantly, some people don't know the intake from the exhaust ports.
