Okay I am jealous ya all going riding today, me stuck with
family-Fathers day obligations, okay enuff on my soap box.
Another thing about the "Key thing" I also tied a somewhat
fluorescent band (yellow on the wifes and bright blue on mine)
around my Key ring. My logic here is that if I were to drop my
key ring at night the rubber boot being black it would be hard
to find. Hey caper, I keep my spare on my car keys ring,
kept in my pocket seperate from the ATV key ring. Good
tip Stendori, not to keep key in ignitition during transport,
almost fell prey to that several times.
Getting off topic but good idea too, to turn of the gas
line during transport for us carborated folks.

Okay stop rubbing it in, LOL, Com'on August!
Another thought as things you pack for hiking, camping, hunting
etc. etc. I have found it useful for my ATV excursions is to carry/wear
my hands-free headlamp flashlight, fits perfect around my hat, for night loading,
straping, unchaining etc.

another thing i just found out what you should carry. a atv wrecker to haul back the broken down wheelers that go w/ you lol. we had to lift the front end up on the rack of another tie it on w/ rope and straps and put it in park and drag the rear wheels out of the woods because it was full time wheel drive and w/ the front wheels up the rears couldnt be rolling. thats why i hate the full timers that you cant shift out.

Cordachine,
All man, thanks for the invitation, if I had the time from work and could scoot
out there in ole IN, then No problem. We all should see what we could do about
organizing forum trial rides split in parts, mid-atlantic east cost, southern areas,
mid-west, north west, etc. etc. so at least certain folks can meet and ride. Still want
to hit Hathfield and McCoy one of these days, maybe before this summers end.

Hmm...what else to bring? I always have first aid kit, engine oil, antifreeze, tools, tape (electrical & duct), zip ties, tow straps, a couple of space blankets, fire sticks, gloves, a couple of garbage bags in case I have to wrap something up, rain gear, extra clothing depending on the season, hat, spark plug, small axe, phone, bottle of water. Thats all I can think of at present.
