I like both bikes but the DS is too heavy for me. I only weigh 160 so i can't pull up the 650 to balance a wheely unless i pop the clutch on asphalt. On the predator i can pull it up in second without clutching and i could fan the clutch to pull it up in third gear. Both are heavy sport bikes. But a DS is roughly 520 pounds and the predator is in the mid 400 pound range.

 

how fast is the ds stock can it beat a 450 or banshee

 

It'll be close with both quads until top speed,then the ds650 will start to pull away. They have a really high top speed.

 

I disagree. I haven't ridden a banshee but a YFZ would smoke the DS in acceleration. The DS has about a 5mph higher top speed than the 450.

 

I wouldnt say smoke...maybe 3 bikes then the ds starts closing the gap. My buddy has a 2005 trx450r and raced the ds650 and the ds beat it.
