Polaris bashers

its easy, the rice burners are next to nothing, they are the cheap rednecks that look at the bottom line price. Polaris parts maybe expensive, but thats what they make their money off of, and to tell you the truth, the only thing Ive needed to replace on ours are the batteries on the 90s and thats because there is hardly anything protecting those connections except that wierd rubber thing on the + connection, but once you kick start it, and run it a while, the horn, brake light, elec. start, all work, but if you dont start it for a month or two, then you just need to charge it for 10 min. or so.
As far as the guy who said it was funny to see a Suzuki 250 pulling a Sp. 500 I think, WHO CARES!
a.) all quads break down,
and
b.) it doesnt take much to pull something. Ive pulled a yamaha 660 raptor with my tb 250, its NOTHING.

Caper, if the ECM burns up, will it be fried rice?

There is a simple equation that figures into these sorts of things. It is usually applied to cars and trucks but I've found it applies to ATVs and motorcycles as well.
Brand loyalty in motor vehicles is inversely proportionate in relationship to IQ.

I have two Polaris machines, and almost everything I own is
USA (not sure the granularity here, MADE vs. ASSEMBLED?)
But NOW that I am 36 yrs of age, my strong opinions are
starting to change about this exclusive view "Buy American, etc."
AMERICA is NOT a MANUFACTURING NATION anymore! (Shame to say)
So take a good look around, all your electronics, even ATV parts are
foreign made. My REDNECK hunting buddy up the street, blasted me
when he saw me pull in my drive way (1 yr ago) with my Toyota Tundra
(used, 2004 bought from CARMAX), slamming me left and right, 'JAP-CRAP"
etc. etc.
Yea, he is the one FORD all the way and such BUT has a Yamaha Grizzy. How much he spend on that? Somewhere
between 6-8k? What a hipocrate!
Sorry for my rant!

I worry about our manufacturing base too.
As for made in the US. Your Tundra is built in the US isn't it.
My Chevy Avalanche was made in Mexico. Which one is more American?
My 700 Grizzly was made in Georgia as was my buddy's Suzuki Vinson.
This is the same tired argument I hear on the snowmobile forums. I would buy from any major manufacturer. They all make good products. In the end it comes down to features and personal preference. I am glad we live in the USA where we have a choice.
Oh and Canada too. sorry Caper.
