Check the fluid in the hub. Lift the wheel off the ground, position the allen screw on the hub at 12'o clock, remove set screw, and rotate to 9 or 3 o'clock. At those positions fluid should just begin to escape.

There is power going to the hub, but if there is no fluid, what kind is to be used?
Another detail that i failed to mention is that i had the whole assembly apart to fix a broken u-joint, and i put it back together the way the service manual showed.

make sure you get the right hub fluid so it will work. the manual you have should tell if theres adjustment for the plates i would think.

I got lookinf through the manual and it say that you can use type F tranny fluid, I'm thinking that i might have the armatuer plate in the wrong position (the manual says to mark the position of the plate and assemble it the same way, which I didnt cause it all came out at once!!)

finally got it!!!!! all it was is that the rollers were not moving freely in and out of the roller cage. all i did was take a file and file down the openings so that the rollers would move freely, and it works great now. make sure you follow the torque specs (very important not to over tighten them)
