Hi all, My riding partner is having trouble with the upper and lower steering bushings on his 99 scrambler. Does a aftermarket company make brass replacements or am I mistaken? I need suppliers phone numbers and web site addresses if possible.

Thanks for your help!

Try http://www.hotseatperformance.com/. They are dedicated to polaris ATV's, Snowmobiles, and PWC.

Per a dealer in my area, The new and improved lower bushing in the newer scramblers won't fit the 99. He recomends the Hotseat item instead of Polaris's replacement. The Hotseat P/N is ATVSPSB. Also, I understand that Hotseats steering post is much better.

Good luck

Hotseat's steering post is also $189, compared to $40 stock Polaris. The Hotseat bushing is around $35-$40. I've had the HPD brass steering post bushing ($35) in my Sport for over a year. It's the only way to go.
