I just purchased a polaris 4 foot snow blade haven't used it yet.My dealer discouraged me from going with the 5 foot as he claims many have come back being bent.He said the 4 foot is the best.My question to you out there is the 4' even wide enough for a sportsman. Will i be driving over the ridge with my front tire.

I got the 4' blade from Polaris last week, its just wide enough for the bike. The only thing I don't like, is you can't see it at all when plowing. I'll have to get those marker sticks. Anyway I love the way it plows, the snow is a little to deep for it here, but that mean I just have to do the driveway twice. My dealer didn't want me to get the 5' either, wonder what's up with that. Good luck, let us know how it works.

Has anyone been disipointed with how light and flimsey the Polaris blade looks.I'm thinking of sending mine back and looking for one that has a little more meat to it.Anyone know of another brand.

I have the 5 ft Polaris blade with side and top catches. I've used it on my SP500 from the start of this plow season with no problems. I also installed the front shock spacers and the rear lock on the independent A-Arms.

My 60" Moose Plow looks strong enough to put on the front of a truck. I was very impressed with the quality & strength of the blade & push tube. Go to Mooseutilities.com & check them out.

There is quite a difference in plows, just sit them next to each other and you can easily see for yourself. The Moose 5' is about the heaviest and best for deep snow. It makes some of the others look like toys. I have used three different makes and the Moose is easily the best one. Coupled with a Superwinch ATV2000 winch to raise and lower, It's unbeatable.

What do you guys think about the Cycle Country plows. I'm kinda looking around for a easy on/easy off plow and the only one that people replied with was that one. Give me your opinions..

I thought the Polaris plows looked cheap, and even a couple dealers steered me away from them. I wanted to buy the Moose plow, but their SP500 mounting kit was back-ordered. Since they could not get me a system I called around and talked with the Cycle country people. I ended up with the Work Power 60 inch straight blade from Cycle Country. I also got the manual lift which works great, quick and easy. I have plowed a lot of snow in December ( we had a record 34 inches fall in Dec.) No problems, very well built, rolls snow well. No complaints so far. Takes less than 5 minutes to put on or take off the push tube and blade assembly.
